Patron in Spirit Gordon M Higginson

      Director Barbara D Hicks

Since its inception in Canberra in February 1983 the friends and fellowship of shared experiences of members and families has spread worldwide. Both physical and spiritual journeys have brought about a basic humanitarian concern and respect for one another's growth in this life and the afterlife.

NO DOGMA DICTATES

NO POLITICS RULE

OUR SEARCH IS OUR OWN

No examinations or credentials are necessary to be part of our Fellowship for our fellowship is also yours. No certificates or diplomas can be conferred to show understanding of spiritual truth.

It is an inner knowledge of the soul's journey and the study of those and their work, that have gone before us, that gives merit to our search for spiritualist truth.

It is the shared experiences of that journey that link us in fellowship and with this in mind we have inaugurated

the

Fellowship of Spiritualist Truth

The Fellowship of Spiritualist Truth (FOST) offers you the hand of friendship and fellowship and where possible join to promulgate our Spiritualist philosophy and truth.

Become an evangelist for Spiritualism and may angels lead your footsteps

May the angels lead and guide you

The Cronus Centre was founded in Canberra by Barbara Hicks in 1983 following almost 3 years of studying and training at Stansted Hall the home of the Arthur Findlay College in England. It was during a private reading and assessment with Mr.Gordon Higginson then Principal of the college and President of the Spiritualists' National Union (UK) that Barbara was told she was to return to Australia and open a Centre.

A centre to promote and share the teachings and experiences she had acquired during her time at Stansted Hall as the only full time student ever to attend the College. Once the Cronus Centre was operating Mr. Higginson offered his patronage and although now passed to spirit it is his teachings that are promulgated through Barbara's courses and classes throughout the world.

Cronus in Greek mythology was the son of Gaea (Mother Earth) and Uranus (Heaven) the symbolism of being the product of the union between the two planes of Heaven and Earth it was an apt choice for such a centre.

In Australia Barbara was a Recognized Religious Marriage Celebrant appointed by the Attorney General and she officiated as a Minister for many Funeral Services and Naming Ceremonies for members and friends of the Cronus Centre.

Approval had  been given by the Registrar General to enable the Cronus Centre Worldwide to appoint its own Celebrants in New Zealand.

Since 1983 courses and workshops have been conducted throughout Australia and New Zealand and in the UK. Barbara later became a tutor at the College at the request and encouragement of Mr. Higginson. During her six years in the UK Barbara also served the SNU on National and District committees and was creator and Editor of "Medium 2000".

Her understanding of life and the afterlife she shares - not something merely read but something truly experienced.

The  Fellowship of Spiritualist Truth can be found by sharing with friends both old and new in Cronus Centre courses and workshops and social activities.

The Centre is not a Church or affiliated to any religious body but offers support to those that ask. That service is our fellowship.

In love and light
